Taiwan MFIG Buys 56,000 MT US Corn From Bunge

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group bought 56,000 metric tons of US No. 2 yellow corn from trading house Bunge in a tender concluded Tuesday, said a Taipei-based trader who received the tender results.

Bunge sold 20,535 tons of corn at $145.42 a ton, and the remaining 35,465 tons at 154.92 US cents a bushel over the Chicago Board of Trade March contract, the trader said. Both prices are after cost and freight, including one port discharge.

The cargo is set to be shipped either between Dec. 3-17 from the US Gulf, or between Dec. 18 - Jan. 1 from the Pacific Northwest.
