China to develop farm machinery in 2011-15
China's Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) has introduced five special plans to boost the development of agricultural machinery industry over the next five years.
The plans mainly focus on the innovation and promotion of farming technology, relevant demonstrations and training, equipment test and evaluation, and the development of facilities farming.
The Chinese government will grant a purchase subsidy for machinery related with facilities farming in the coming years, the MOA said.
