Taiwan TSC To Seek 35,000 MT US Corn In Tender Friday

State-owned Taiwan Sugar Corp. will seek 35,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 yellow corn in a buy tender to be held at 0600 GMT Friday, said a Taipei-based trader who received the tender notice Tuesday.

TSC will buy one cargo of corn to be shipped either between Oct. 24 and Nov. 7 from the U.S. Gulf, or between Nov. 8 and Nov. 22 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.

Suppliers will have options to provide 5% more or 10% less of the tendered quantity.
