Dutch company rolls out new climate control system for pig farms

Fancom, a Dutch manufacturer of climate control and feeding systems is introducing the Fancom F21, a new climate controller for pig farms.

The systems main features are its simple operation, its multi-functions and  intelligent climate control that provides energy savings.

The new controller has a large display showing all the important data about the climate process. The main data of all its 24 sections can be displayed using one key.

The company said its visualized display makes its easy even for inexperienced users to understand while installation just requires a single cable.

The controller has a complete climate control for 24 sections and central control for ventilation and heating.

The system is modular, so that a customised solution can be tailored for different farm sizes.

The controller also has a standard EasyFeed feed control, for quick and efficient control of a simple dry feed installation.

The system also provides management information such as animal data, feed and water consumption.

The company said the controller ties in with the company's CentralFlow ventilation concept, based on a central exhaust.

Depending on user settings, the controller automatically calculates the best positions for the air inlet, exhaust, heating, humidity and cooling.

The controller automatically takes external conditions into account and compensates for seasonal influences.

In addition, the controller ventilates based on animal weight, ensuring a constant supply of fresh air in the sections.
