ILDEX debuts in China
International Livestock and Dairy Expo or ILDEX debuted in the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing Thursday (October 10,2007) after successful runs in India and Vietnam last year.
The 3-day event is organised by Bangkok-based N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. (NEO) and Beijing Tech Convention and Exhibition Center and sponsored by the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and China Ethnic International Economic Cooperation Co.
According to the opening speech by speaker Ou Zhong Sheng from the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, ILDEX China 2007 attracts more than one hundred exhibitors from 10 countries like America, Australia, Thailand, India and Vietnam. The event also had 2,000 pre-registered visitors.
The Chinese pavilion had more than 30 exhibitors, according to Ou.
The exhibition would showcase the prosperity and development of the animal husbandry of China in recent years and the overall level of animal husbandry development of the world at the same time, Ou said.
ILDEX China 2007 will become an important platform not only for information exchanges and establishing cooperation in the animal husbandry and dairy industry but also for showcasing the industry's achievements, he said.
"As we look forward to the future, ILDEX China will play an essential role in facilitating the intensive management of the animal husbandry and dairy industry," Ou said.
