South Korea Dongah Flour Buys 18,000 MT US Wheat From Cargill

 

South Korea's Dongah Flour Mills Co. bought 18,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 1 milling wheat from trading house Cargill in a tender concluded Friday, said a Dongah Flour official.

 

Dongah Flour bought one cargo of milling wheat at prices ranging from $146.47-$179.60 a ton, free on board from the U.S., the official said.

 

Dongah Flour will fix the ocean freight rate in separate talks with a local shipper, said the official.

 

The cargo is set to be shipped between Nov. 20-Dec. 20 from Portland in the Pacific Northwest.
