China sulphate additives prices stay flat
Cupric sulphate
Even though animal inventories were on the rise, feed millers were not enthusiastic to expand inventories with the outlook of livestock markets uncertain. Towards late September, buying interest weakened further as buyers prepared for festive celebration.
After the long holidays during early October, cupric sulphate prices are expected to stay around current levels as demand improves gradually.
Zinc sulphate
Despite rising ingredients costs of late, zinc sulphate producers were unable to lift prices as buyers who had little confident in the livestock markets were cautious in procurements.
The high zinc costs and expanding hog inventories will lend support to zinc sulphate market.
Manganese sulphate
Slack demand for manganese ore kept the output costs of manganese sulphate and hence its prices low.
Manganese suphate prices will likely rise gradually amid strengthening demand.
Ferrous sulphate
Low ingredients costs helped to keep ferrous sulphate prices flat while demand showed little improvement.
Demand is expected to grow albeit slowly. However, ferrous sulphate market is unlikely to strengthen in the near term with supplies ample.
