China's 2008 corn import quotas remains unchanged from 2007
China set the 2008 import quotas for wheat, corn, rice and cotton Tuesday (Oct 9), all unchanged from last year's levels.
The quotas for wheat and corn for 2008 were set at 9.636 million tonnes and 7.2 million tonnes respectively, according to a statement published on the National Development and Reform Commission's Web site.
The quotas for rice and cotton were set at 5.32 million tonnes and 894,000 tonnes respectively, it said.
