China lysine supply crunch continues to lift prices

Prices were unchanged during the week ended October 7.

Towards late September, trade was light as feed millers gradually halted operation to prepare for the celebration of Mid-autumn Festival. Hence, prices of lysine were stable even though supplies remained tight.

After the one week holidays, lysine prices are expected to stay firm amid strong demand and limited supplies.
