The NCP said corn production has been rising at an average of 7.13% per annum since 2001 and the DA believes corn exports will be of further boost to the industry. The report also says Malaysia imports 2 million tonnes of corn annually while South Korea buys more than 1 million tonnes of the commodity each year.
