South Korea's Sunjin to begin construction of feed mill in Cambodia

 

 

South Korean meat and feed producer, SunJin Co., Ltd, will begin construction of a feed mill in Cambodia by next month, bringing the total feed production sites to 17 within seven years, to help the company reach KRW2.2 trillion (US$2.1 billion) in sales.
 
Sunjin executive explained during a press conference the progress of their "Vision 15" and came up with a revised "Future Vision 2020" plan, in view of changes in the currency and livestock industry. The company is working towards its goal to expand its sales to KRW2.2 trillion (US$2.1 billion) by 2020. This sales figure is three times that of last year's KRW7,800 million (US$7.3 million).
 
The global feed manufacturing company with operations in China, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia, is engaged in the manufacturing of formula animal feeds and proccessed meats. The animal feed segment manufactures and distributes formula feeds and feedstuffs for pigs, chickens, dogs and cattle; while its processed meat segment is involved in the provision and distribution of pork.
