Vietnam pork prices rebound
Pork prices are rebounding in wholesale markets in Ho Chi Minh City after nearly a month of falls due to decreased demand, local media reported.
Local reports state that that in Tan Xuan market of Hoc Mon district, pork is selling at between VND36,000 and VND49,000 per kilogramme, up VND1,000 and VND2,000 as compared to a week earlier.
Meanwhile, prices of pork in supermarkets are rising by VND2,000-VND3,000 per kilogramme.
Prices of poultry meat have been up slightly by VND1,000 and VND2,000 a kilogramme.
