US Milk Price Rebounds
The Class III price for milk in the US adjusted to 3.5 percent butterfat for the month of September was $14.72.
This represents a 68 percent improvement in the Class III price from the previous month's announcement.
The typical "fall bounce" in milk prices is the result of waning production and increased demand.
With schools in full swing, and strong interest in cheese from consumers, milk and milk product demand is increasing and keeping a strong foundation under the milk market.
