Novus' chelated trace mineral products now part of OMRI products list

Novus' chelated trace mineral products Mintrex® Zn, Mintrex® Cu and Mintrex® Mn have met the compliance requirements outlined in the official Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) Policy Manual and that these products now are listed for use in organic production.

 

All three Mintrex formulations will be added to the OMRI Products List under the general materials listing: NOP: Minerals - Feed, Class: Livestock and Feed Ingredients.

Novus submitted the application for Mintrex to the OMRI in February and received OMRI listed status in late September. This status applies to use of Mintrex in the US market.

 

Mintrex is a chelated trace mineral that has an official ingredient definition in the Official Publication of the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO). Mintrex products are produced to ensure compliance with stringent global standards providing safe and high-quality trace mineral solutions.
