Price cuts entice China vitamin B2 buyers
An eFeedLink Exclusive
Prices moved lower.
Rising inventory pressure compelled vitamin B2 producers to cut prices, which successfully enticed buyers to increase procurements particularly towards late September.
As of September 30, general market prices of locally produced vitamin B2 (80% content) moved lower to the range of RMB123-125/kg.
With demand poised to stay weak vitamin B2 market is unlikely to firm up in the coming period. Producers who are seeking to increase exports to clear excess stocks are expected reduce prices further.
