Vietstock 2006 set to feature comprehensive showcase

With two months to go, the second Vietstock Expo and Forum has already attracted a record of 130 exhibiting companies from 24 countries, exceeding the 120 exhibitors chalked up at the previous event. The exhibitors include national and regional pavilions from China, UK, US, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, France and South Korea.
Held for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietstock 2006 will be at the heart of the Mekong delta where most of Vietnam's feed and farming industries are based.
Hosted by the Department of Livestock Production, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), Vietstock 2006 has the full backing of relevant government departments and industry associations.
Recognised by the industry as the only international class trade event for the feed, livestock and meat industry in Vietnam, some of the major exhibitors that have confirmed their participation at Vietstock 2006 Expo and Forum include Adisseo, Biomin, Van Aarsen and many others.
The three-day Second Vietnam Feed and Livestock Industry Conference is set to be held concurrently with Vietstock 2006, with over 300 key industry decision makers representing major integrators, farmers, veterinarians, feed millers and meat processors expected to attend this event. The conference will bring together industry experts and speakers to discuss issues ranging from breeding, feed management, bio-security and
avian influenza to meat processing.
