Ukraine allows grain exports of 1.2 million tonnes

In a resolution issued by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No 1179 dd. September 26, 2007, the government permitted the export of grain crops in the volume of 1.203 million tonnes.

In particular, this document permits the export of the following crops from November 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008:

• wheat and mixture of wheat and rye (meslin), emmer wheat (spelt) - 200.000 tonnes;
   
• barley 400.000 tonnes;
   
• corn 600.000 tonnes;
   
• rye - 3.000 tonnes.

In addition, this resolution confirmed the order of licenses issue for grain export and distribution of quotas.
