Jiangsu's Wuxi market implements cold chain system for pork transactions

Wuxi TianPeng wholesale meat market's upgrading works are finally completed after half a year, and expected to open for business after National Day. The overall area for this new wholesale meat market has increased to 14,000 square meters,and will be incorporating cold chain system for all transaction to achieve zero contamination.

"The newly upgraded wholesale market is now equivalent to a meat supermarket," said the relevant person in-charge of TianPeng wholesale meat market. Besides using scales, network-style hanging rails system and electronic tags to improve and enhance on the existing transaction model, all pork transactions will now be completed in a fully operational cold chain system, ensuring zero contamination. In addition, a central air-conditioner and two escalators have also been installed, making it a more comfortable environment.
