Reduced output, strong demand props up China vitamin A prices
 
 
Prices moved higher over the past few weeks.
 
Several domestic major producers lifted price quotes towards late September. Meanwhile, buyers increased stockpile during this period, in preparation for the upcoming long holidays, hence lending strong support to the price hikes.
 
Demand for vitamin A is expected to slow during October due to high animal releases in September.
