Cargill gets approval to build grain terminal in Ilyichevsk, Ukraine
Cargill can now implement its plan to build a grain terminal in state-owned Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk (Ilyichevsk), Ukraine.
This is according to the port's stevedore company head Alexander Grigorashenko.
"There are currently no obstacles for the implementation of a joint project of Illichivsk port and Cargill. We have offered Cargill Company to participate in tender. I think, in mid-October, we will hold a joint meeting with the Ministry of Infrastructure (of Ukraine) and the mayor of Ilyichevsk. In general, we are moving towards signing of Letter of Intent. Then we could speak more specifically," said Grigorashenko.
