Novus to upgrade automated supply chain management system
In order to better serve customers, Novus International, Inc. is upgrading the infrastructure of its patented AIMS automated supply chain management system.
The new system will improve reliability and upgrade the telemetry system to a sustainable technology platform. It uses satellite communication with a submersible differential pressure sensor for level measurement.
The new platform provides precise and dependable inventory readings, a back-up power supply and a local display of tank inventory.
This technology upgrade will allow Novus to better monitor customer inventory and continue to economically deliver less-than-truckload (LTL) bulk liquids such as ALIMET, feed supplement and SANTOQUIN, feed preservative.
Novus has contracted with Liquid Systems, Inc. of Simpsonville, South Carolina and other local contractors who will make the equipment replacement to insure no interruption of service.
Novus International, Inc. is headquartered in metro St. Louis, Missouri, US, and serves customers in more than 90 countries around the world.
