China lysine market stable amid softer demand
Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending September 30.
Demand for lysine dwindled as feed millers gradually reduced output with pre-festive purchasing of livestock products coming to an end. Nevertheless, as supply remained tight amid low production rates, lysine prices stayed firm over the week.
Average transacted price remained unchanged atRMB10.18/kg.
Although production will remain low due to limited availability of corn, lower corn costs will help to hold down the prices of lysine.
