China's methionine imports rise in August
China's methionine imports registered 9,172 tonnes in August, up by 4,484.825 tonnes from July.
Average import price in August was US$3.74/kg, higher by US$0.10/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (3,800 tonnes), Japan (3,422 tonnes) and France (1,400 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during August.
