Danish producers are ready to increase value of direct investments in the Russian agricultural complex (APK), as Eva Hansen, the Danish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food said.
Danish producers have invested about 1 billion rubles (US$40 million) in Russian APK development.
During the negotiations with Aleksey Gordeev, the Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Hansen said the Danish group is ready to increase its investments.
Denmark is hoping to export breeding cattle to Russia. Gordeyev said he hoped Russia would be able to use Danish knowledge, technologies and investments to create joint ventures in this field.
The ministers also reached an agreement on implementation of joint projects in bioenergetics and biofuel production from animal waste processing.
