Taiwan MFIG To Seek 56,000 MT US Corn In Fri Tender

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group will seek 56,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 corn in a buy tender to be held at 0700 GMT Friday, said a Taipei-based trader who received the tender notice.

MFIG will buy one cargo of corn to be shipped either between Nov. 15-29 from the U.S. Gulf, or between Nov. 30-Dec. 14 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.

Suppliers will have the option to provide 5% more or less of the tendered quantity.
