Kazakhstan plans to build grain storage facilities in UAE, Jordan

 


Kazakhstan plans to construct grain terminals in the UAE and Jordan for exports to the Persian Gulf countries, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov said.


"Within a year, if all goes well, we will complete the construction of the railway to the coast of the Persian Gulf of Iran. Our grain will be competitive in the region. Arab countries have a corresponding interest, and we will consider the possibility of construction of grain storage facilities in the UAE and Jordan," he said.


It was previously reported that Kazakhstan is also considering construction of grain terminals on the Black Sea coast.
