Iranian firm to set up farm in Kyrgyzstan province
Iran's Heramp will invest more than US$2 million before the end of 2009 and another US$100 million next year to develop agriculture in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy Province.
The initial investment will establish a farm to grow wheat, breed pedigree cows, poultry and sheep using Iranian technologies.
Heramp also plans to set up a veterinary service to demonstrate livestock breeding methods and technologies. The service will also demonstrate how artificial insemination could breed pedigree cows that would produce 40-70 litres of milk per day.
The US$100 million investment for next year will be used to construct processing enterprises of milk, grain and fodder.
