DSM raises its VevoVitall and vitamin E prices
DSM Nutritional Products has adjusted its VevoVitall prices upwards globally by US$125/tonne with effect from Sep 19, 2006.
The company cited higher transport, energy and raw material costs as the reason for the price increase and will honour its existing contracts.
VevoVitall is an ultra-pure grade of benzoic acid that when added to swine feed, cuts down ammonia emission in pigs.
DSM also declared that it has raised the prices of all its Rovimix vitamin E products by 10 percent with effect from Sep 26, 2006.
DSM Nutritional Products is a leading supplier of vitamins, carotenoids and other fine chemicals to the feed, food, pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
