Russian meat processor to build pig farms in Bryansk region
Russia's meat processing plant Tsar-Myaso has planned to build two pig farms in the Bryansk region, said a spokesperson for the regional government Monday (Sep 27).
Investments in the project are expected to amount to US$4.7 billion (US$0.15 billion).
The regional government, the company and state-owned Russian Agricultural Bank plan to sign an investment agreement on the project in November.
The total capacity of the farms is expected to amount to 180,000 heads. The project also envisages the construction of an animal feed plant.
