Ukraine imposes meat ban on some foreign producers
                      


Meat imports from a number of foreign producers have been banned, according to the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine.

 

Imports of frozen poultry meat of Belgian producer Kipco-Damaco and German producer Trinity GMBH have been banned.

 

Frozen pork cheek-meat produced by Poland's Zaklady Miesne Konskowola SA has also been banned. 

 

Ukraine had detected colon bacilli and bacteria exceeding permissible levels in products supplied by the banned producers.
