Akzo Nobel announces choline chloride price increase

With effect from Sep 22, 2006, or as existing contracts allow, Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals, a business unit of Akzo Nobel, has raised the prices of all its choline chloride products by 10 to 15 percent, depending on the product and destination.

The price adjustment was needed to cover significantly higher costs of raw materials, energy and logistics.

Akzo Nobel is a leading choline chloride producer with production facilities in Marano Italy, and Yixing, China.
