Chinese lysine producers cut prices amid competition to move sales

Lysine prices were lower during the week ending September 26.

Competition in the lysine market tightened as more producers resumed operation after the summer hiatus. Producers who were eager to promote sales cut prices in efforts to stimulate sales.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were in the range of RMB5.30-5.60/kg.
