Vietnam's 2012 frozen meat imports down

Vietnam imported around 3,000 tonnes of frozen meat each month this year, 500-1,000 tonnes less than last year.

According to Nguyen Xuan Binh, Director of the HCM City's Veterinary Office, chicken accounted for 80% of more than 30,000 tonnes of frozen meat imported into the country in the first eight months of this year.
