China imports more fishmeal in August
China imported 86,803 tonnes of fishmeal in August, up 23 percent from July. This was, however, 49 percent lower compared with August 2006.
Imports in August were mainly from Peru (55,846 tonnes), Chile (15,801 tonnes) and Russia (4,067 tonnes).
