BASF increases prices for its vitamin B2 feed grade products

BASF has increased world-wide prices for its vitamin B2 products for feed grades to US$20.50/kg on a CIF sea basis citing production cost increases and marketing.

The products offered by BASF Fine Chemicals include vitamins, carotenoids, enzymes and organic acids. The company recently raised its feed grade vitamin E products.

The strict conditions and regulations applicable to the market licenses ensure a high standard of safety and effectiveness, the company said. In 2005, the Fine Chemicals division posted sales of EUR 1.73 billion.
