Australia Helps Vietnam Fight Bird Flu

The Australian Embassy in Vietnam has handed over 3,000 bird flu-tests to Vietnam in an effort to help the country prevent the disease.

The Republic of Korea's Ambassador to Vietnam, Yoo Tae Hyun, had earlier handed over USD 30,000 to the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry as aid for the country's fight against bird flu.

The money was later transferred to the Veterinary Department, a member of the National Steering Committee for Bird Flu Prevention.
