Vietnam's September agro-forestry, seafood exports up 10.2%
 

 

In September, Vietnam gathered US$2.3 billion from exporting agro-forestry and fishery products, pushing the total revenue for nine months of this year to US$20.4 billion, up 10.2% on-year.

 

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reported on September 25 that agricultural products brought home US$11.1 billion, up 6.2% from the same period of last year. Most products saw rises in both volume and value, except for rice, rubber and pepper.

 

Aquatic products brought in an estimated US$4.5 billion, up 3.5% from last year's same period. The US remains the top importer of Vietnam's seafood. It is followed by Japan and the Republic of Korea.
