AKVA group is changing its management structure to strengthen the market orientation of the company, simplify the organisation and to create more efficient command lines in the company.
The management team is extended from six in the former organisation model to 11.
Morten Nærland has been appointed deputy CEO and will relocate to Norway early next year. Prior to this appointment, he has been the General Manager for AKVA group Chile.
Odd Martin Solem is appointed Director for the PRU-Software (PRU = Product Responsible Unit). The position is shifted into the group management team to increase the focus on software solution within the group.
Jone Gjerde, who has been the Chief Operation Officer of the company, is now appointed Chief Technology Officer and Director for PRU-Hardware.
Jørgen Scheel, manager of AKVA group Denmark, is appointed as Director for PRU-Recirculation. The position is now moved into the group management team.
Trond Severinsen, Chief Market Officer, will also assume responsibility for new markets.
Stig Martin Bø will continue as Director for Sales Nordic. The position is moved into the group management team.
David Thorburn will continue as the General Manager for the group's activity in UK and Ireland. The position is now moved into the group management team.
Andrew Campbell who has been second in charge in Chile will assume the role as General Manager for Latin America. The position is a part of the group management team.
Patrick Dempster will continue as the General Manager for AKVA group North America. The position is a part of the group management team.
The changes are made with immediate effect.
