Novus International appoints new feed quality director

 

 

Novus International, Inc., has announced the appointment of Wendell Knehans as director, Feed Quality.

 

Knehans will lead the Feed Quality Unit within marketing, which includes responsibility for yeasts, mycotoxin binders, enzymes and antioxidants as well as continued development in the area of DDGS (dried distillers' soluble grains).

 

Knehans joins Novus from the American Soy Association (ASA) where he served as executive director,

Member & Industry Relations. At ASA, Knehans led the team that managed Corporate Relations, Marketing/Communicationsand Membership. He led the development of strategic alliances with agribusiness and allied industries. Knehans also managed the Agri Business Council and developed the Soy Industry Biotechnology Working Group.

 

Knehans has spent 22 years in crop input businesses between Monsanto, United Agricultural Products, and Corn States Hybrid Service. He has served in roles of increasing responsibility in field sales, supply chain, marketing, licensing strategy and business development.

 

In 2001, Knehans was named National Agricultural Marketing Association Marketer of the Year. He has led strategy/marketing of new products under development, product launches, rapid-growth products as well as mature products with no patent protection.
