Paraguay posts decrease in soy exports
Paraguay registered a decrease in its exports of soy in September this year, according to Carlos Rendano, from Paraguayan exporters agency Camara Paraguaya de Exportadores de Cereales y Oleaginosas.
The country expects only exported 80,000 tonnes of the product against an original expectation of 300,000 tonnes in the period. So far this year, Paraguay already exported 3.5 million tonnes of soy and shipments are expected to reach 4.5 million tonnes by the end of the year.
