Slower trade, ample supply hold China methionine prices flat
Prices of methionine stayed flat during the week ending September 23.
Methionine sales slowed as feed millers and farmers prepared for the celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were unchanged in the range of RMB25.50-26.20/kg.
Buyers are expected to increase stockpiles in the coming week, before China goes for the long holiday break during early October.
