Alltech appoints new technical manager in Malaysia

In order to meet growing demands and provide value-added services to local markets, Alltech is delighted to announce the newly recruited Dr. Tang Siew Ching.

Dr. Tang Siew Ching has been appointed as Technical Manager for Alltech Malaysia. She will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing team, providing technical services at a farm level in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, as well as coordinating the research activities in Malaysia. Dr. Tang graduated with a BSc as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2005) and has obtained nearly three years experience on poultry farms in Johor as a farm veterinarian, responsible for exporting, farm management and animal health in the company. Following this, Dr. Tang obtained a Masters from the University of Putra Malaysia (2008) and was fully sponsored by Alltech with her research project titled "Utilisation of corn dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) in broiler diet".

"Dr Tang's extensive experience will further strengthen Alltech's technical support for the poultry and pig industries in Malaysia. This appointment reflects Alltech's growth in this region and our continued focus on meeting the needs of local markets," said Dr. Richard Chong, General Manager Alltech Malaysia.
