Kazakhstan to boost poultry output by 30% in 2011
Kazakhstan plans to lift poultry eat production to 100,000 tonnes by the end of next year, which will be 30% higher than current levels of production.
Poultry consumption in Kazakhstan is steadily increasing and at present is estimated at 160,000 tonnes, according to Evgeniy Aman, an executive secretary of the Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture.
However, production remains relatively low at an estimated 77,000 tonnes last year.
