China's methionine imports down in August
China's methionine imports registered 7,166.91 tonnes in August, down by 969.24 tonnes from July.
Average import price in August was US$3.11/kg, down by US$0.18/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (3,595.50 tonnes), Japan (2,498.91 tonnes) and France (705 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during August.
