US finds more soybean rust in Georgia State
The USDA said Asian soybean rust has been identified in Johnson county, Georgia State. Soybean rust had already been detected in Washington and Laurens counties within the state.
Meanwhile, soybean rust was also recently detected in Pike county in south-east Alabama State, reports said.
According to reports, the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina have so far detected soybean rust in 15, 22, 19, two and three counties respectively.
With the growing season over or nearly over in most regions, the threat of rust has reportedly diminished.
