South Korea's Kocopia To Seek Up To 55,000 MT Corn In Thu Tender
The Korea Corn Processing Industry Association, or Kocopia, will seek up to 55,000 metric tons of optional-origin non-genetically modified corn in a buy tender to be held at 0700 GMT Thursday, said a Seoul-based trader who received the tender notice.
Suppliers can choose to supply U.S., South American or Chinese corn, the trader said. Kocopia will buy 55,000 tons of either U.S. or South American corn, or 52,500 tons of Chinese corn.
The cargo is set to arrive at the port of Incheon Feb. 5, 2005, the trader said.
