Foreign investors eye Zimbabwe's aquaculture sector

 

 

A number of regional and international investors have expressed interesting in investing in Zimbabwe's fish farming sector, according to Aquaculture Zimbabwe Project Coordinator Garikaimose Tongoona.

 

This development is expected to boost the sector, and the improved operating environment includes the adoption of multi-currency has provided incentives to attract foreign investment, Tongoona said.

 

Tongoona also said there are plans to establish an Aquaculture and Fisheries Information Centre, which will assist local farmers with expert information on the fish farming industry.
