Russia suspends poultry imports from several US companies

The Russian federal food quality watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor said Thursday (Sep 21) it was temporarily suspending the import of poultry from several US producers because salmonella has been found in the poultry arriving from the US.

The suspension comes into force Sep 30 for the following producers: Gress Foods; Koch Foods; Farbest Foods Inc and Crider.
