China's Methionine Imports Up 1,470 MT, to 8,328 MT in August
 

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported 8,328 metric tons of methionine in August 2004, up by 1,470 metric tons from July.

China's accumulative methionine imports from January to August amounted to 5,3741 metric tons, up by 9,179 compared with the same period in 2003.

Major methionine exporters to China in the month of August are USA, Japan, France and Belgium.
