Yenher Agro-Products held two-day trade seminar

 

Yenher Agro-Products SDN BHD, one of the leading companies in animal nutrition products and services in Malaysia, has organised a trade seminar in Penang Island which saw the attendance of 101 farmers, feed millers and consultants.

The event lasted for two days and centred on discussions concerning the future of the feed and animal industry in the region.

The seminar commenced with an update on Yenher premixes (YENMIX) presented by Dr Lee Chin Hsing, the company's regional manager for Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and China. Dr Lee introduced the concept of "Green Ideal Protein" (GIP) which ensures improved performances as well as reduced wastes in the environment.

The meeting continued with a talk titled "Novel feed additives - 360 degree approach to better farm profitability", presented by Dr. Praful Kumar, Techno-Commercial Manager from Ayurvet Limited, India. Dr Kumar's speech focused on a natural liver tonic, an herbal galactogogue specially designed for improving milk output for sows, and a natural mycotoxin binder and growth promoter.

On the second day, Mathieu Cortyl, Asia-Pacific general manager at Norel Animal Nutrition, Spain, gave an update on current feed production and challenges ahead, followed by a presentation on practical recommendations on the use of feed additives in swine and poultry. The important aspects of the presentation explore the possible ways of improving performance and efficiency of swine and poultry through the use of, specifically, sodium butyrate and probiotics.
